The drawing challenge for this week, hosted by Tammie is 'pollinators'...
... and I just couldn't pass this one up, since my husband keeps bees... Don't forget to go to Tammie's beautiful blog to see what everyone else did for the challenge!
Oh, wow, so vibrant and colourful photos! Your husband keeps bees? Well, that's rare! I remember my surprise when I figured out that a friend of mine is a skilled beekeeper, too!
Hello Sharmon, your photos are marvelous and I'm really amazed that your husband keeps bees, that is cool and good thing. I also saw that you're doing very nice collages, which I really like, so I'm glad that I got to know you through this dc and I like to stay here for a while. Thanks for your nice comment! barbara bee
Oh gosh, look at those beautiful creatures! :D I keep thinking of keeping an urban bee hive here in the city. We're allowed one as long as it is 15 meters away form neighbouring houses and I think I have that much room. Must seriously take that on as a project and get on with it. So far I only keep mason bees. Hope you're having a lovely weekend.
Bees and butterflies are like little jewels, Renilde. Unfortunately, we've been having trouble keeping the bees alive and have only gotten honey once so far; hoping for better luck this year!
the bees' hard work is something else... fascinating. and although honey is not my favourite sweet, i love the golden colour indeed. and the promise! n♥
Your photos are so crisp and crystal clear, Sharmon. Just beautiful. I admire the bee keepers of the world. They are brave and gentle at the same time. AND they love their bees.

ReplyDeleteYes, bees are amazing creatures, and pollinate many of the vegetables we eat, which is one reason it is so important to save them.
