Weekly Quick Collage: Serendipity

Serendipity

Another in my series of weekly collages, done (mostly) in less than an hour using materials laying around on my drafting table (or floor). Enjoy!

"Vital lives are about action. You can't feel warmth unless you create it, can't feel delight until you play, can't know serendipity unless you risk.”
~ Joan Erickson

“Sometimes serendipity is just intention unmasked.”
~ Elizabeth Berg, The Year of Pleasures

    1. Thanks, Mary Ann. It's true, isn't it; we have to leave an opening for serendipity to enter through...

  3. You obviously have a very interesting 'stash' to have those bits just lying around. Serendipitous indeed.

    1. My 'stash' is so big because, when working on my larger pieces, I haul lots of stuff out and then am too lazy to put it all away! Probably not the best of habits, since I often have trouble finding specific things when I want them.

  4. Enjoyed the quotes as much as the art. It is amazing what one can make with what is just laying about.

  5. Ah Sharmon, a beautiful making of serendipity, a favourite word holding the magic in the flighty nature of chance that makes it all worthwhile
