We Remember

  1. A moving visual tribute.
    My dad was able to visit the WWII Memorial in DC shortly before he died. We liked to recall that he walked onto the site an old weary guy but he walked off the site with a bounce in his step and a twinkle in his eye...you see, he was surrounded by young people the whole time he was there and they asked him questions and wanted to hear his stories and felt privledged to meet him and wanted photos taken with him wearin ghis WWII cap...it meant the world to him that the Memorial had finally been built.

  4. i got to see these last summer...another i liked was the Korean War Memorial...it is especially powerful to walk through in the evening, after the sun goes down.
