The Same Thing, Only Different (Azaleas)

While I'm working on more mixed media art to share with you, I thought it would be nice to share some more photos.  In the past six weeks we've had maybe five sunny days, and I was lucky enough to be out at Shabo- Mekaw on one of them.  Even better, I was there while the azaleas were in bloom, and the butterflies came out to sip some nectar...





































 
Now, I've got to get back to work!  Enjoy!

  1. Oh, I have enjoyed! These photos are soooooo pretty. My favourite is the black butterfly against the deep pink. Gives me hope that someday we'll see spring, blossoms sunshine and butterflies in these parts again. Meanwhile, I have this lovely posting to gaze upon.

  4. Great photos! The butterfly house at the local zoo is a beautiful place to see butterflies but I've never managed to get photos as good as you've got here. My immediate thought was "must paint these!" but I'll resist :)
