It's the time when all you see is gray...
It weighs down the sky...
wrapping hills and trees in delicate layers of gray tissue.
And then it begins....
Symphony of the Rain
ingredients: vintage type paper, vintage piano book page, magazine cut-outs, various decorative papers

ReplyDeleteI do love how you weave your blog posts together. Such a wonderful flow! I think I saw those very same clouds last week. What a absolutely fantastic first image! Your rain collage (I think it is a collage) is perfect. No clouds here today- time to walk my dog.
ReplyDeleteThis post is a beautiful artwork in itself! Is that first image tissue paper or actual cloulds? Like teri I think it's amazing.
ReplyDeleteyummy post...brief and unexpected, like a quick spring shower. Gray but shimmery too.
ReplyDeletethe inspiration may have been gray/rainy but you've managed to make it feel uplifting!
ReplyDeleteyou forgot to put in the ingredients a lot of art, that is what you have!
ReplyDeleteArtista!!!
oh so beautiful Sharmon!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous set of shots. Sometimes, I find it easier to get on and work on the grey days, something about there being no expectation in their quiet monochrome stillness. Problem is, we often get too many days like that in a row and I get colour hungry!
ReplyDeletejournée grise ne veut pas dire idées grises ou noires.. le collage est très beau!
