When I decided to do this daily painting blog, I knew I couldn't post something every single day. I figured it would be hard enough just to put something on here a few times per week. What I didn't realize was just how difficult it would be to do even that. Maybe some of the other painting-a-dayers don't have a day job. All we can do is to do the best we can, as I tell my students. Thanks for looking at my art; I hope you enjoy this one!
Hi, Sharmon! I saw your comment on artscuttlebutt, and travelled from there to your blogspot! I am also posting "daily" paintings, but also working full time, so I certainly can relate to your dilemma. At first, I thought it would make me paint more every day, but in actuality, what I do is paint like a maniac on weekends and post (almost) everyday. Which has been fun, but now the weather is changing......and calling me outside...so it's a bit harder. Always easier to paint when there's a blizzard outside.
